That's just four of the kayaks set to load up at Edge of the Woods Outfitters. Our group had two more rentals from the guys at the outfitter. We put in at Smithfield beach on the Delaware river and travelled the six miles to the Kittatinny access point. It was good for a 3+ hour paddle, including a lunch break on Shawnee island.
The Delaware was a little bit chocolat-ey, but better than mid-week after storms blew through. The river was at 11 feet at that time, but settled down to just below 8 feet for our Saturday paddle. Here's to an action-packed Summer!
